Booking privacy

How your appointment information is used.

This notice explains what happens to the information you provide when requesting an appointment through this website.

Who is responsible

Sue Massage Shop is responsible for the personal information collected through the appointment form.

What is collected

The form collects your name, phone or WhatsApp number, selected treatment, requested date and time, and an optional email address or short note.

Please do not include detailed medical or health information in the form. If you need to discuss whether a treatment is suitable, contact Sue directly before requesting an appointment.

Why it is used

Your information is used to review your appointment request, contact you about it, manage the diary, prevent double-booking and keep an appropriate administrative record.

The main legal bases are taking steps at your request before providing a service and the legitimate interest in running the appointment diary responsibly.

Where it is stored and shared

The booking system uses Supabase to provide database, authentication and booking infrastructure. Information is not sold, used for advertising or added to an unrelated marketing list.

Information may also be disclosed where required by law or where reasonably necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal rights.

How long it is kept

Appointment information is kept only while it is reasonably needed to administer the booking and for a limited period afterwards to handle enquiries, disputes and applicable legal or record-keeping duties. It should then be deleted or anonymised when it is no longer needed.

Your choices and rights

You can ask for access to your information, ask for inaccurate information to be corrected, or ask whether it can be deleted or restricted. You may also object to certain uses of your information.

Contact Sue using the details on the main website. If a data concern cannot be resolved, you can contact the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
